@tamahori, with regard to the gaming stream, hopefully by the time Au Contraire 2013 rolls around I'll have received my copies of Studio McVey's Sedition Wars : Battle for Alabaster , CMON's Zombicide, Steve Jackson Game's "Ogre - Designer's Edition and Forking Path's The Doom That Came To Atlantic City from their respective KickStarter campaigns.

I also have some old classics such as SPI's "The Creature That Ate Sheboygan" as well as several different versions of LoTR games and things like "Risk 2019". Will be happy to bring a pile of things along even if they don't get played, just to people know they're out there, as I'm local and have a car.

We could also try and get our local award-winning game designers Jarrat Gray & Carl de Visser Endeavour  and Matt Cowans ("Dig", "Cow", "Mob") to pop along.

Matt & Debbie Cowans are also the authors of "Mansfield & Monsters", which launches this weekend, publishing some of Katherine Mansfield's little known collaborations with H.P. Lovecraft so might also be able to be convinced to come in for more writerly panels.

Finally, seeing the relevance of Kickstarter to the games above, made me think perhaps we should have a panel on a similar phenomena, the crowd-funding of research, that is supported by places like RocketHub ?

I dunno, Gary.  I mean, what if he has a latex alergy?  Boffer weapons might give him a nasty rash.  Better to stick to the traditional hardwoods and stainless steel.
