The Victoria University Continuing Education Department is running the short course Persons in Time. The course examines a selection of philosophical issues surrounding the nature of persons and time.

Presenter:

Dan Burkett is a PhD student and philosophy tutor at Rice University in Houston, Texas. His current area of research is the ethics of punishment, though he previously completed his MA thesis at Victoria University on the possibility of time travel. Dan has published several book chapters on the topics of time travel and free will and their presentation in popular culture.
